Request a Reward promotion
Reward request must be made online via the www.sigbrands.com.au website between the 1st February 2010 and 5pm EST on the 31st March 2010. Reward request must be new to the 2010 program. If your reward is selected for inclusion in the program you will receive one of what you have requested for free. Request a Reward promotion is open to the staff of customers of Combined Foodservices of Australia (CFA) distributors and staff of CFA distributors. How to Claim
At the conclusion of the SIGNATURE BRANDS Loyalty Reward Program (Program) on the 13th August 2010, a summary of the total purchases invoiced and accumulated points, for the period 1st February 2010 to 13th August 2010 of the featured Signature Brands products, as displayed in the SIGNATURE BRANDS brochure and, a SIGNATURE BRANDS claim form, will be provided. Customers can claim online at the website as advised to the customer by their CFA foodservice distributor or they can complete the claim form and return it to their distributor. This Program is only open to customers of Combined Foodservices of Australia (CFA) foodservice distributors who are invited to participate in the program. A minimum of 5,000 points is required to be earned by the qualifying customer by purchasing products from their CFA foodservice distributor to qualify for a reward. Qualifying customers may only claim rewards equal to the total value of the points they have accumulated during the period 1st February 2010 to 13th August 2010. Qualifying customers can select from within the SIGNATURE BRANDS 2010 brochure or website, the reward/s of their choice and carefully complete every detail of the reward claim form. Qualifying customers are to either complete the claim form online or sign the claim form and return it to their supplying Combined Foodservices of Australia (CFA) foodservice distributor. Points & rewards can only be claimed from the CFA foodservice distributor who supplied and invoiced the featured SIGNATURE BRANDS products, and products must be paid for in accordance with the trading terms of the supplying CFA foodservice distributor to be eligible for a reward.
When to Claim
Reward claim forms are to be completed online or returned to your supplying CFA foodservice distributor by 5.00 PM AEST on 20th September 2010 and shall remain the property of CFA. Any reward claim form received after 5.00 PM AEST on 20th September 2010 will be ineligible. Rewards will not be available until the supplying CFA foodservice distributor validates the claim form. Rewards are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Reward Description and Installation
Reward descriptions are based upon supplier’s and manufacturer’s information unless otherwise stated. Installation and/or service of items are not included.
Substitution
Rewards are subject to availability and should a product be discontinued or be unavailable from a supplier, CFA reserves the right to substitute the reward with a reward of similar value.
Warranty
Should a reward require service please direct your enquiry to the manufacturer according to the warranty information. You should complete and forward the warranty information card contained in any reward to the manufacturer in accordance with their instructions.
Disclaimer
CFA and the participating CFA foodservice distributors do not accept any liability with respect to loss, damage, death or injury, including consequential loss or damage arising from the supply or use of a reward, or from the loss, theft or destruction of a reward, except for any liability which cannot by law be excluded. Subject to any rights you may have under the Trade Practices Act or any warranties implied by law which cannot be excluded, both CFA and the participating CFA foodservice distributor gives no warranty with respect to the quality of rewards or their suitability for any purpose.
Delivery
The supplying CFA foodservice distributor with whom the SIGNATURE BRANDS claim form was lodged will deliver all rewards and delivery inquiries should be directed to them. Please notify the supplying CFA foodservice distributor in the event that a reward is delivered in a damaged or faulty condition, within 5 days of receipt of the reward. Any alcohol reward can only be claimed by and will only be delivered to a person who is aged 18 years and over. Suitable photo ID may be requested prior to delivery. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years.
Privacy
By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised by the qualifying customer and authorised representatives, each qualifying customer and authorised representative consents to the information which they submit with their claim form being entered into a database and CFA may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the qualifying customer. All details provided by the qualifying customer will be stored at the office of CFA, Unit 2, 624 Ferntree Gully Road Wheelers Hill, Victoria 3150. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to this address. All information shall be kept in accordance with the Privacy (Private Sector Amendment) Act 2000.
Taxation
CFA and CFA foodservice distributors accept no liability in respect to any taxation liability (including fringe benefits tax) of reward recipients, arising from the redemption of rewards. All rewards are valued inclusive of GST. Reward recipients should seek their own independent advice on any taxation implications that may arise from the rewards.
Community Partners Donations
The qualifying customer may elect to forfeit its entitlement to all or some of its points to the Community Partners as displayed in this brochure. CFA will give the value of the forfeited points to the nominated Community Partner.
The qualifying customer acknowledges that once they forfeit some or all of their points to a nominated Community Partner they cannot reverse their decision and will forfeit any rights to those points and the ability to redeem those points for rewards. The qualifying customer acknowledges that it will not receive any benefit of any kind or have any entitlement from CFA.
Authority
Rewards will be issued on the understanding that the person claiming the rewards is authorised to do so on behalf of the qualifying customer who is entitled to the rewards. Rewards claimed by qualifying customers who are registered clubs are subject to dispersal in accordance with the laws and regulations applying to registered clubs in each State or Territory.
Exclusion or Cancellation.
CFA and CFA foodservice distributors reserve the right at their absolute discretion at any time to exclude any customer from inclusion in the Program or to cancel the registration of any customer.
Entire Agreement
The terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between CFA, the CFA foodservice distributor, and the qualifying customer in respect to the Program. CFA and CFA foodservice distributors may in their absolute discretion and flexibility in the conduct of the Program: (a) change, amend or vary these Terms and Conditions; (b) change, amend, vary, withdraw or cancel any rewards or the value of any rewards; (c) cancel the Program in whole or in part; (d) change, amend or vary a qualifying customer’s qualification target or the Signature Brands; and (e) exclude a customer from, or cancel a qualifying customer’s registration and participation in the Program. If a customer is at any time during the continuance of the Program in breach of its trading terms with CFA or with any CFA foodservice distributor, CFA may cancel the qualifying customer’s registration and participation in the Program. CFA and any CFA foodservice distributor are not liable for any loss or damage suffered resulting from any such withdrawals, cancellations, variations or changes to the Program made by CFA or CFA foodservice distributors in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. All decisions pertaining to any disputes under this Program or the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions will be made by CFA, whose decision will be final and binding on all qualifying customers and on CFA foodservice distributors.
“REQUEST A REWARD” PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents who at the time of entry: (a) are staff members of customers of Combined Foodservices of Australia (CFA) distributors; (b) the staff of CFA distributors; and (c) have permission from their employer to enter. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. To enter, you must visit www.sigbrands.com.au during the promotional period, follow the prompts to the entry page, input the requested details including the reward valued at $2,000 or less, and (in 25 words or less) tell us why you think it would be a great reward. The reward put forward must be something that is available to purchase by the Australian general public.
4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5. Only one entry permitted per person.
6. Promotion commences 1.02.2010. Entries close 5pm AEST on 31.03.2010. The judges reserve the right to select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant. Winner will be notified by telephone and mail.
7. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on the creativeness and appropriateness of the reward selected and their written response to the question. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will win the prize of the reward they nominated at the time of entry, valued at up to $2000. If due to reasons beyond the Promoter’s control the reward the winner selected is no longer available or cannot be obtained by the Promoter for $2000 or less, the Promoter will offer a reward of similar type or value. The winner acknowledges that it may take up to 8 weeks to receive the reward after the closing date.
9. Prize is subject to any applicable standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
10. If the winner of prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian. If for any reason a winner does not want the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
11. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
12. It is a condition of receiving the prize, that the winner consents to the Promoter using the winner's name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
13. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
14. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
15. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and CFA distributors (including their officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
16. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize supplier in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
17. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
18. The Promoter may in this year or the following year’s program include a submitted reward that was entered as part of this promotion. Such inclusion does not confer any rights to any rewards or prize.
